Liverpool FC Winners Parade 2025: Everything You Need to Know

Liverpool FC fans – get ready to paint the city red once again! As the club closes in on a historic season, a massive victory parade has been planned to celebrate what could be a triumphant return to the top of English football. Here’s everything you need to know about the highly anticipated Liverpool Winners Parade on 25th and 26th May 2025 (Expected date but not 100% confirmed).

Update: Parade Weekend confirmed

Please be aware that we are getting very booked up for taxis, minibuses, and executive vehicles to and from the parade and airport transfers for the weekend of the parade. We strongly recommend booking as soon as possible, as we may have to suspend new bookings for this week once we reach full capacity.

The parade has now been confirmed for Sunday 26th May, with an estimated start time of around 14:30.

The 15km victory route, following the same route as the 2019 and 2022 parades, will begin at Allerton Maze in the south of the city and travel northbound via:

  • Queens Drive
  • Mill Bank
  • West Derby Road
  • Islington
  • Leeds Street
  • The Strand

The parade will finish at Blundell Street.

It is anticipated the parade will last between three to five hours, although this is subject to change.

🏆 Why This Parade Matters

This isn’t just another celebration – it’s historic. If Liverpool FC clinches the Premier League title, it will be the club’s first in-person title celebration since their 2019/20 victory, which was heavily affected by pandemic restrictions.

The parade will serve as a once-in-a-generation opportunity for fans to come together and honour Jurgen Klopp’s incredible tenure as manager, which is set to end this season. It’s also a chance to celebrate the team’s successes, potentially including multiple trophies across domestic and European competitions.

📅 Parade Dates: 25th & 26th May 2025

The official Liverpool FC winners parade is scheduled for Monday 26th May 2025, which conveniently falls on the Spring Bank Holiday – allowing thousands of fans from around the UK and beyond to attend.

Sunday 25th May 2025 marks Liverpool’s final home match of the season against Crystal Palace. This game could be the moment the title is officially sealed, setting the stage for a citywide celebration the following day.

🚍 Parade Route: What to Expect

While Liverpool City Council and the club have not released finalised details, it’s expected that the parade route will follow a similar pattern to previous years, likely including:

  • Allerton Maze as the starting point
  • A journey along Queens Drive, Smithdown Road, and Upper Parliament Street
  • Final celebrations near The Strand and Blundell Street

There are growing calls for the parade to pass by Everton’s new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium, which would be a symbolic moment for Merseyside.

A fleet of open-top buses will carry the players, coaching staff, and silverware as fans fill the streets in red.

🎉 What Will the Atmosphere Be Like?

Liverpool knows how to celebrate – and this parade promises to be one of the most spectacular events the city has ever seen. Expect:

  • Live music from local artists and DJs
  • Thousands of flags, flares, and banners
  • Special effects, confetti, and fireworks
  • Merchandise stands and food vendors lining the route
  • An estimated 1 million+ fans joining the celebrations

🚗 Getting to the Parade: Travel Tips

Traffic disruption and road closures are guaranteed on the 26th of May, so plan ahead:

  • Arrive early – roads will start closing from the early morning hours
  • Use public transport – trains and buses are expected to be very busy
  • Avoid driving into the city unless you have private hire or pre-booked transport
