The New Destinations for Spring/Summer 2026

  • St Louis, USA (British Airways): Starting 19 April 2026, BA will launch the only direct UK service to St Louis, Missouri. Operating from Terminal 5, this route arrives just in time for the 100th anniversary of Route 66, making it a prime choice for American road-trip enthusiasts.
  • Rome, Italy (ITA Airways): From 29 March 2026, ITA Airways will introduce double-daily flights to Rome Fiumicino from Terminal 2, adding much-needed capacity to one of Heathrow’s most popular European routes.
  • Islamabad & Lahore, Pakistan (PIA): Making a highly anticipated return after six years, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) resumes direct links from Terminal 4. Islamabad flights start 29 March, with Lahore following on 30 March.
  • Seville, Spain (Vueling): For those seeking Andalusian culture and sun, Vueling is launching a daily service to Seville from Terminal 4, beginning 29 March.
  • Seattle, USA (Alaska Airlines): Expanding its North American reach, Alaska Airlines will debut a daily service to Seattle from Terminal 3 on 22 May 2026, offering seamless connections to over 100 destinations across Hawaii and Alaska.
  • Tivat, Montenegro (British Airways): From 14 May, BA will offer three weekly flights to the “Balkans’ best-kept secret,” operating from Terminal 5.
  • Guernsey (British Airways): Connecting the Channel Islands directly to the global hub, a daily BA service from Terminal 5 also kicks off on 19 April.

Navigating the Expansion

With 84.5 million passengers recorded in the last year alone, Heathrow is busier than ever. These new routes, particularly the return of PIA to Terminal 4 and the unique St Louis link in Terminal 5, are expected to drive record numbers through the terminal doors this summer.
