EasyJet Terminal Change: Everything You Need to Know for April 2026

V Class Executive Taxi Transfers

If you are a frequent flyer with easyJet, take note: as of 29 March 2026, there has been a major operational shift at London Gatwick. To streamline its massive summer schedule, easyJet has consolidated almost all of its operations into a single terminal.

At DM Airport Transfers, we’ve already seen a bit of “terminal confusion” from passengers this week. Here is the breakdown to ensure you don’t end up on the wrong side of the airport.

1. The Big Move: All easyJet at the North Terminal

Until recently, easyJet split its flights between both terminals. However, from late March 2026 onwards, all easyJet flights now operate exclusively from the North Terminal.

  • Departures: You must check in and drop your bags at the North Terminal.
  • Arrivals: All easyJet flights land at the North Terminal.
  • The “South Terminal” Warning: If your boarding pass or booking confirmation from earlier this year still lists the South Terminal, it is likely outdated. Always check the live flight status 24 hours before you travel.

2. Navigating the North Terminal in 2026

The North Terminal has seen some significant upgrades to handle the extra 20 million annual easyJet passengers:

  • The Gateway Lounge: Newly redesigned in January 2026, this lounge now offers expanded seating and a table-service menu—perfect for avoiding the busy main departure lounge.
  • New Dining: A landside Greggs opened on Level 1 (near Costa) in early 2026, providing a budget-friendly option before you go through security.
  • Pier 6 Expansion: Gates 101–113 are now fully operational, which has significantly reduced the walking time for European short-haul flights.

3. Don’t Get Caught Between Terminals

If you do find yourself at the South Terminal by mistake, don’t panic.

  • The Shuttle: The free inter-terminal monorail runs every few minutes and takes just 2 minutes.
  • The Risk: In 2026, security queues during peak times (5:00 AM – 8:30 AM) are reaching 60–90 minutes. Miscalculating your terminal could easily lead to a missed flight.
  • Smart Tip: A professional airport transfer eliminates this risk. Our drivers track your flight number in real-time, ensuring we drop you at the correct terminal door regardless of any last-minute airline changes.

4. More New Airline Terminal Placements for 2026

With nine new airlines joining Gatwick this year, the terminal map has become a bit of a puzzle. Here is where the new arrivals are based as of April 2026:

  • North Terminal: Condor (Frankfurt), Eurowings (Cologne/Stuttgart), and Beijing Capital Airlines (Qingdao).
  • South Terminal: Jet2 (all 29 routes), Air France (Paris CDG), Air Arabia (Sharjah), and Pegasus (Istanbul – launching June).

5. Stress-Free “Meet and Greet”

With the 2026 passenger surge, the North Terminal arrivals hall is busier than ever. Our DM Airport Transfers drivers wait in the designated arrivals area with a clear name board.

  • North Terminal Pickup: We usually meet near the Costa Coffee on the Ground Floor.
  • South Terminal Pickup: Look for your driver near the Arrivals gate, also typically near the Costa Coffee.
