Bookings require more than 12 hours' notice. Earlier booking is recommended for larger groups, accessibility requirements and journeys where a particular vehicle size is important.
The correct vehicle depends on both passenger numbers and luggage. A vehicle may have enough passenger seats but still be unsuitable if every passenger is travelling with a large suitcase.
A standard saloon will normally accommodate up to 4 passengers with around 2 suitcases and 2 carry-on bags. For five or more passengers, or where additional luggage space is needed, a larger MPV or minibus may be required.
When booking, provide the full number of passengers, suitcases and carry-on bags. Mention unusually large items such as pushchairs, golf clubs or sports equipment so the booking can be matched to an appropriate vehicle.
A 5-seater transfer can suit families and smaller groups that need an extra passenger seat beyond a standard saloon. Luggage requirements still need to be considered carefully, particularly where five passengers are travelling with several large suitcases.

A 6-seater MPV can be a useful option for family airport journeys, friends travelling together and smaller groups who want to use one pre-booked vehicle. If all six passengers have large cases, tell us before booking so the luggage capacity can be considered as well as the seat count.
A 7-seater vehicle provides additional passenger capacity for larger families and groups. The most suitable vehicle still depends on the combination of passengers and luggage rather than the passenger number alone.
An 8-seater minibus can be suitable for larger airport groups who want to travel together. For passengers with substantial luggage, extra-long-wheelbase or larger-boot vehicles may be used where available.
For groups larger than eight passengers, provide the full group size when requesting the booking. A 16-seater may be available in some areas, subject to availability, or more than one vehicle may be required.
There is no separate luggage fee where the luggage fits within the vehicle booked. If the passenger and luggage combination will not fit safely, a larger or additional vehicle may be required.
This is why accurate luggage information matters. A group of eight passengers with hand luggage has very different vehicle requirements from eight passengers each travelling with a large suitcase.
For an airport collection, provide the correct flight number when booking. DM Airport Transfers can track the inbound flight using the information supplied and adjust the planned pickup where appropriate if the flight is delayed.
If the airline changes the flight number or your travel plans change, provide the updated details so the booking information remains accurate.
