Dover: The UK's Second-Busiest Cruise Port

Known as the "Gateway to Europe," Dover is the nearest English port to France and welcomes around 200,000 cruise passengers a year — second only to Southampton in the UK. Its two dedicated cruise terminals couldn't be more different: Terminal 1 is a beautifully restored 1914 former railway station, Dover Marine, while Terminal 2 is a purpose-built modern facility opened in 2000 with departure lounge views straight over the harbour to the White Cliffs and Dover Castle.

With two separate cruise terminals a short distance apart, and occasionally a third opened for peak-season overflow, it matters that your driver knows exactly which one your ship is using. Confirm your terminal when you book and we'll route you straight there rather than the general port area.
